This site is a tribute to our Kevin, the most kind, patient and caring Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Son in Law and friend anyone could wish for, who sadly passed away recently after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Kevin loved nothing more than socialising with friends and family alike. He loved music, football and holidays abroad but his favourite place was the apartment in Spain where he spent many wonderful holidays, sometimes just him and his wife and sometimes with the rest of the family, but if there was sun, music, food and beer, then he was content. 

Nothing was too much trouble for Kevin as we are sure all those who have had the pleasure of attending a function hosted by Gill and Kev would agree, and that was just how he was. He loved his family and idolised his grandchildren and loved watching them or playing with them in the garden. 

Kevin dealt with the cancer battle in his normal unassuming way and kept most of his battle private, to make sure that those around him were not affected by what he was going through.

Unfortunately his fight with the disease progressed rapidly over the last few months. Throughout this he continued to apologize to those caring for him when he required some assistance and for not being the best of company for the many people who came to visit him, which really sums up the sort of man he was.

Kevin passed away how he would have wanted to, peacefully at home with his wife by his side.

His tragic loss will be felt by many and he will be missed by all, but for those closest to him his loss will leave an irreplaceable hole in all our lives.

Due to the support both emotionally and physically received from the Saint Francis Hospice staff during this difficult time to both Gill and Kevin it would be preferable that rather than flowers, a donation to Saint Francis Hospice would be greatly appreciated if you wish.
